The Floor Screeding Process

Step 1: Site Preperation

Carpets and underfelt are removed if nessasary. The floors are cleaned and on tiles the grout lines are filled. A polymer primer coat is then applied.

 

Step 2: Screeding work

A second primer coat is applied and the coloured screed is immediately laid to the required thickness, smoothed off and allowed to set.

Then a skim coat or textured coat is applied depending on the finish required

 

Step 3: Finishing Work

The floor is then sealed with acrylic resin.
